ALLCO - REDTOP - SLIDE - McCALLUM
Group ~ Ag-Zn-Pb-Cu-Au Property
INTRODUCTION
The ALLCO group is a large High Grade Silver, Zinc, Lead, Copper and Gold property. The claims are located immediately south of Selkirk Metals L J property, near Revelstoke BC. The mineralised trend that hosts the J & L - Zinc ~ Gold deposit is quite likely located on this property as well.
This ground is also contiguous with the former producing Mastodon Ag-Zn-Pb Mine owned by Teck Cominco.
The property area is very highly ranked for it's prospective geology, as well as it's discovery and exploration potential.
HISTORY
Most of the exploration and development work was carried out between 1934 and 1937 by Allco Silver Mines Limited, during which some minor ore shipments were made. The development work included 282 metres of drifts and crosscuts in 4 adits, a 20-metre shaft and a 15-metre winze.
In the 1980's Gunsteel Resources Inc., explored the property. They defined several geochemical anomalies and new showings, that have yet to be drilled. Further modern exploration on the property is warranted and undoubtedly would result in more new discoveries.
GEOLOGY
The general claim area is underlain by strata of the Lower Cambrian Badshot Formation and the Lower Cambrian and younger Lardeau Group.
Five main stratigraphic units have been identified and consist of:
(1) massive grey limestone;
(2) A 9-metre marker unit consisting of buff, siliceous limestone at the base grading upward into black orthoquartzite;
(3) A dark grey, thinly bedded argillite and argillaceous limestone (this unit is about 30 metres thick)
(4) A distinct buff, silty limestone and limestone conglomerate (maximum thickness of 60 metres);
(5) black, slaty, graphitic argillite and phyllite of considerable unknown thickness. (Sed-Ex environment)
Units 1 through 4 are equated with the Badshot Formation and unit 5 with the Lardeau Group. A major northwest trending fault separates the underlying Badshot Formation from the Lardeau Group.
Four distinct modes of mineralization have been found either in the buff limestone unit or along the contact between the buff and grey units and comprise:
(1) stratiform, banded massive galena-sphalerite- tetrahedrite-chalcopyrite found along the contact of buff and grey limestone units.
(2) Massive galena-sphalerite or sphalerite-pyrite-arsenopyrite veins and pods in joints and joint intersections (Like J&L ?)
(3) Stockwork, massive galena-sphalerite accompanying quartz-carbonate veins in brecciated limestone
(4) locally occurring galena, sphalerite and pyrite in a 1-2 metre wide quartz vein found intermittently along a major fault.
Strataform banded pyrite with galena and sphalerite also occurs in dark banded phyllite and shales.
NEW ZONE DISCOVERED ON THE ALLCO PROPERTY IN JUNE 2008
The new zone consists of banded massive galena, sphalerite and tetrahedrite with chalcopyrite. The mineralized zone strikes into the hillside and is exposed in a new logging road cut. The zone is over 2m wide with at least three 20 cm thick bands of massive sulphide's.
The thickness of the bottom band has yet to be determined. About 30cm of massive sulphide's are exposed on the bottom band but further excavating is needed in order to determine its true thickness.

CLAIMS & SHOWINGS
Results from a few areas of the available property include...
1.2 metres of 7.46 opt Ag,... 0.44% Pb,... 17.69% Zn
1.2 metres - 0.12 opt Au,... 15.07 opt Ag,... 12.28 % Pb, 9.30% Zn
1.2 metres - 11.36 opt Ag,... 7.21% Pb,... 18.72% Zn
Grabs - 27.8 opt Ag,... 16.28% Pb,... 32.56% Zn
Allco dump grab 2007... 1.88 gpt Au - 89.91 oz/t Ag - 42.5% Pb - 4.88% Zn - 300 gpt Sn
Numerous other high grade occurrences are located over 3 Km. by 500 metres in the Allco area alone.
Assay's from some showings in the Redtop Slide area
(Sed-ex target) are: 6.5% Zinc over 2 metres as well as grades of 21% Zn and 10.9 opt Ag.
The following results are taken from some old reports on the Slide McCallum area:
A sample across 3 feet of fairly massive yellow to brownish sphalerite assayed: 2.50% lead and 32.0% zinc.
Another sample across 2 feet assayed: 28.8% zinc.
The total width of mineralized rock is about 20 feet in this area.
A sample across another 2 feet of well-mineralized limestone assayed 6.17% zinc, lead 9.8%.
Another sample across 11 feet of mineralized dolomite adjacent to the limestone assayed: lead, 0.77% zinc, 2.1%. Another sample across 6 feet of mineralized limestone and dolomite gave 2.96% zinc and 6.5% lead.
Silver and gold are historically mentioned as trace amounts, however modern assay's are necessary to determine these proper values.
Minfile occurrences on the property include the ALLCO, LEAD KING, LITTLE SLIDE 1 and McCALLUM GROUPS.
Regional location
Showings and Claims map
The McCallum - Slide is a sedimentary exhalative Zn-Pb-Ag type. Several Reverted Crown Grants, showings and anomalous zones are known to occur. Many other areas on the property host Sed-ex, Manto, Mississippi Valley and Vein type base metal mineralisation. Abundant Zinc carbonates (Smithsonite) and / or Hemimorphite a Hydrated Zinc Silicate Hydroxide also occurs.

The map above compares the first derivative magnetic signatures of known deposits to known mineral zones on the Allco-Redtop Slide group.
New Copper and Bismuth (1.24%) mineralisation has recently (2006) been found in another area of the property as well. This mineralisation is related to a Cretaceous Intrusion.

The claim group hosts extremely prospective geology with very high RGS Zinc anomalies. New bedrock is exposed from receding glaciers. The claims have brand new logging roads and high lead logging blocks. Excellent further exploration and discovery potential exists in these newly exposed and accessible areas.

Silver Shield Group
Sedimentary Exhalative ~ Ag-Zn-Pb
This property is located on the edge of treeline in the Keystone peak area near Revelstoke BC.
The SHEILD group of claims cover numerous showings of strataform galena and sphalerite mineralisation hosted in a dark banded phyllite unit in contact with Badshot Marble.
The claim area has only undergone minor past physical exploration. The area is very highly prospective for future discoveries.
Although there are several good surface showings of base metals. The property has never been drilled.
