Claims For Sale
The following mineral claims are available for outright sale or option...
Mackenzie Limestone
Rough limestone reserve calculations were made using a computer program which estimated the topographic surface of the deposit based on elevation contours; the base of the deposit was estimated from the lowest outcropping of limestone. The deposit was estimated to contain 945, 809, 138 tonnes of limestone. The deposit also covers a started Quarry that was developed to supply material for the local pulp industry.
Copper King Group (SOLD)
A grab sample from the dump at the mouth of the adit in the Zinc Zone assayed 17.0 per cent zinc, 2.0 per cent copper and 82.27 grams per tonne silver.
A grab sample from the dump of the glory hole in the Magnetite-Copper Zone assayed 46.6 per cent iron, 5.7 per cent copper, 68.56 grams per tonne silver and trace gold.
Copper Road
A shear up to 9 metres wide and 1400 metres long contains quartz, calcite, bornite, chalcopyrite, native copper and malachite. The shear strikes 100 degrees and dips 80 degrees north.
Drill indicated reserves in West zone are 83, 217 tonnes grading 13.7 grams per tonne silver and 4.1 per cent copper. Drill indicated reserves in the East zone are 68, 114 tonnes grading 2.44 per cent copper and 13.7 grams per tonne silver.
MVT - Zinc
Numerous showings of carbonate hosted Pb-Zn-Ag mineralisation occurs on the property.
Siliceous carbonaceous shale bleeds abundant hydrozincite. Grabs from mineralised zones grade up to 6.7 % lead, 27.2 % Zinc and 33.8 grams per ton silver.
Tungsten Skarn
1 to 3 metre wide scheelite bearing skarn which strikes in a north-easterly direction for over 120 metres.
The skarn consists of idocrase, garnet, wollastonite and quartz. Tungsten content in surface channel samples ranges up to 1.44 per cent WO3 over 1 metre.
Golden Thunderbird
Mineralization consists of disseminated pyrite, galena and chalcopyrite. The south part of the zone was chip sampled across 38 centimetres and assayed 7.35 grams per tonne gold; a grab sample assayed 25.9 grams per tonne gold, 14.5 grams per tonne silver, 0.16 per cent lead and 0.02 per cent copper.
Other showings gave values up to 1.62 grams per tonne gold, 35.9 grams per tonne silver and 1.4 per cent copper.
Omineca Copper
The 12 Reverted Crown Granted claims are underlain by Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group volcanic rocks of the Telkwa Formation comprised of red, maroon and green to grey andesitic to rhyolitic flows, tuffs and breccias. The volcanic rocks are intruded by Late Cretaceous to Eocene granitic stocks comprised of quartz-feldspar porphyry, felsite dikes with associated veining. Abundant chalcopyrite occurs in several showings. The claims are in proximity to numerous developed high tonnage deposits of Copper and molybdenum.
Chrome (Newfoundland)
10,790 tonnes grading 36.97% Cr203; estimated reserves only taking the vertical depth to be 12m
A further 8,100 t grading 30% Cr203; indicated. Numerous other showings nearby. PGE potential unknown.
Copper Core
The claims are underlain primarily by pyroclastics and flows of rhyolitic to andesitic composition belonging to the Telkwa Formation of the Jurassic Age Hazelton Group. Mineralization occurs as disseminations, stringers, shear zones, veins and VMS. There are five known separate mineralised zones plus numerous strong soil anomalies. Mineralisation has been reported with grades up to 17% copper with some areas grading up to 6.3 grams per tonne gold.
Montgomery
The property consists of 1,286.37 hectares of high discovery potential geology.
Mineralised occurrences are found over a distance of 1200 metres with extensive massive sulphide beds. The strata- bound massive sulphide mineralization is from 1 to 3.5 metres thick and has been traced intermittently along strike for about 770 metres and through a vertical distance of 375 metres.
The Montgomery deposits are hosted by the same lithologic unit as the Goldstream Mine which is considered to be 'Besshi-type'. A 2.0 metre channel sample assayed 1.76 per cent copper. The claim also hosts an interesting deposit of gold bearing Pyrrhotite called the Ice prospect. Samples returned up to 7.5 grams per tonne gold with elevated copper, bismuth and tungsten.
Red Zone
An impressive zone of massive Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu +/- Au sulphide mineralization is hosted on the property. Prospecting has also uncovered highly mineralized float from an area that remains untested along strike.
Previous exploration work has identified the same structural style, mineral assemblage and alteration suite that closely resembles that of the Sam Goosley (Equity Silver) deposit.
Production at Equity Silver totalled 2,219,480 kilograms of silver, 15,802 kilograms of gold and 84,086 kilograms of copper, from over 33.8 Million tonnes mined at an average grade of 0.4 per cent copper, 64.9 grams per tonne silver and 0.46 gram per tonne gold. The Red Zone property has excellent geological and discovery potential.
